As a fast-growing startup, OfficeRnD strives to get the most out of its digital marketing efforts. The Covid-19 pandemic put the remote working industry on the spotlight, and they needed a content strategy that is flexible and scalable to be able to seize the opportunity for more organic visibility.

STRATEGY

OfficeRnD needed to improve the focus and effectiveness of its content development process – from choosing the right keywords to publishing content with high rankings potential. At the same time, the new process had to establish a scalable topic research and content optimization process that helps them quickly switch between time-sensitive topics and deliver double-digit increases in organic traffic.

Partnering with VertoDigital, their value based digital marketing agency, OfficeRnD developed a plan to use Google best practices and world class SEO toolstack with their content marketing goals in mind.

They kicked off a four step process of content development. First step was choosing the seed keywords. Second step, using SEMrush to size the seed keywords, and find their long tail keyword synonyms and conversational terms. Third step was applying the business layer – where the sized keywords and business goals intersect. And finally using the selected keywords for content piece optimization using the SEMrush Writing Tool.
